Linden Leisure Ltd was established in 1969 by Brian Chanin, originally as a manufacturer of products for the Hardware/DIY market. The first of the company’s shooting stick range – the Elite range – was designed and produced in 1986.

Linden Leisure grew to the point where they were manufacturing, importing and distributing a wide range of walking sticks, hiking staves and shooting sticks and seats for the domestic and international markets with a strong and well-founded reputation.

In 2011 Brian’s son and daughter – Guy and Julie – took on the responsibility for the business and continued to develop it up to the present day; including the purchase of The Phoenix Walking Stick Company in March 2018.

In early 2026, Linden Leisure finalised the purchase of their portfolio; selling their major assets to Able2 UK Ltd. As a well-known and well-established manufacturer, importer and distributor of daily living aids – including walking sticks – to the trade marketplace.

 

Able2 will be working closely with the Linden Leisure contacts both suppliers and customers to ensure that the Linden Leisure range continues to evolve in this next phase of its existence.
